Old Navy vs. the Gap

I have recently discovered that Old Navy sizes, even if the tag says it’s the same as Gap sizes are, in fact, smaller. I vote for the Gap.

Tagless T’s and 3/4-Sleeve Shirts

OK. I can understand how great the tagless T-shirt innovation is; you no longer have to worry about the tags irritating the back of your neck. But most tagless T’s, I’ve found, aren’t truly tagless. They sew the tags somewhere on the side seam where it’s difficult to find. Too bad this is where the washing instructions are! WTF?! And for the few tagless T’s I own in which the instructions are printed on the shirt itself, unfortunately, they fade after a while.

I remember when 3/4-sleeve shirts first became trendy back in oh . . . 1995? I wish this stupid trend would end, already. What is so wrong with having sleeves that go all the way down to your wrists? I mean, how hard is it to roll them up to 3/4 length? Really.

Exorcism Needed

PLEASE, somebody! Exorcise me from this nearly obsessive interest I have in Britney ever since her meltdown! I even watched How I Met Your Mother last night to see how her guest appearance went! HELP!!!

Small But Stinky

I just don’t understand how a teeny little girl cat like Hopper can take a shit whose stink rivals a truck driver’s. No offense to truck drivers.

Filing 2007 Tax Return

It shouldn’t be this hard. We took our info to a well-known tax filer last Tuesday and they still haven’t finished with them! It’s because of the lump sum of a year’s back pay I got when I was approved for disability last year, for which I have to pay taxes because, says the SSA, our combined income is above a certain amount. These guys decided today that this only counts for senior citizens but that’s wrong. My social security payments are for disability not good ol’ social security. Hel-LO!!!

Restarting My Sleep Schedule

I woke up at 5:30 so I got up instead of tossing and turning. Obviously I need to start over with regulating my sleep schedule. I think Daylight Savings is involved. The process takes 20 days, says the pdoc.

Minor Setback

I made an appointment to return to salon because I messed up the white part of my (French) pedi. The time I scheduled was too optimistic so I rescheduled for 4:30. My day didn’t start off right and I asked Brian to cancel. I have not showered. I’m trying not to beat myself up over this.

I Did It!

I made a pedicure appointment on my own, without asking Brian to call for me. I didn’t cancel, and I drove myself there! Just got back a little while ago. Yay!!!

Milestone Day!

Brian and I had brunch today and I drove! I have not driven since October 2007!!!
