featuring Hee Seop
Somebody has to go to the vet tomorrow! Nothing serious, just his annual check-up, rabies shots, etc. Hee Seop still tries to hide under things, even though there aren’t many places for him to hide anymore. We got rid of our old box spring in which he tore a hole and just loved to climb into. But this would have been awful if there were an emergency.
We needed a new mattress anyway, so we replaced the whole thing with a platform bed. No more “under the bed”! And extra storage space for us. It was kind of funny watching him try to hide “under the bed,” a space that no longer existed. He was like, “What happened?”
Since then, Hee Seop’s doing remarkably well sleeping out in the open, which is huge progress for him. There’s still a box of old files under the kitchen table where he can retreat, though.

Aww this so cute. My beloved Sully use to like hiding up high. Like on the fridge or linen closet shelves. I started putting out empty boxes out for them, they love them. I also put a few small flat boxes around so they have something to scratch. I always look forward to your cat posts.

Your Sully must have been the alpha cat! I’ve read that you can always tell who the alpha is by which cat perches the highest. In our household it’s a battle between Angelo and Hopper — they’re both alphas, which means it isn’t always peaceful around here. LOL
I’m glad you look forward to Friday Cat Blogging. It’s been so hard to post anything lately, and sometimes I’ve missed a cat post or 2, but I try to keep these consistent, at least. I have plenty of photos!
I love it! I love when Aurora tries to hide from us but her tail is sticking out. Hehe
