Hopper’s First Christmas, 1995
I’m guilty, that is. Of taking my fur child to the store to sit on Santa’s lap, which she clearly did not want to do. This is a scanned Polaroid, and when I tried to fix her glowing eyes, I think the red eye feature made her look even more frightened.
At the time, I wasn’t just a first-time pet parent but a first time kitty parent, too. My family had dogs when I was growing up, so I knew absolutely nothing about cats. On this day, oh, I learned some lessons. Brian, the kitties, and I wish you all a wonderful holiday!!!
Angelo says: More pet pics are available for your viewing pleasure at this week’s Friday Ark. If you post your own pets’ photos, leave them a trackback or comment and you’ll be listed there, too. And remember — they don’t limit pictures just to cats!

Haha. That’s awesome. I love it!!
I am sure Hopper has recovered nicely from her visit with Santa. LOL! my cats would have sent Santa running for his life. There would have been a lot of scratches for everyone. Lovely photo by the way.

I was never, either, ’til I got Hopper, and that was because it’s tough to find apartments in Chicago that allow dogs. I’ve fallen for cats since! Well, that’s obvious, but I’d still love to have a dog. I’m glad I could make you smile, and I hope you had a wonderful holiday.
If I didn’t find the santa thing so creepy in general I’d do it too.
