I'm so glad to hear that we weren't the only ones who had this type of wedding, and we didn't have a honeymoon, either. There <i>is</i> a part of me that would have loved to have a fairy tale wedding, but all that planning, money, etc. -- ugh. And then my sister, who <i>did</i> have a fancy wedding in Las Vegas (but that's where our families on both sides live), kind of wishes she opted for something more simple. I'm not into the whole big wedding thing. I think it's a complete waste of money. I'm even more glad I didn't spend lavishly on a big wedding since our marriage didn't last. I just couldn't get into the whole fairy tale wedding like my sister had. I didn't even send out invitations. I invited who I wanted and then I sent out announcements. :p Pissed off my Dad's family because I didn't invite them, but oh well!
