I’ve had a shitty day, and it’s only just after 3:00 p.m. I didn’t sleep at all last night. Planned to leave for the gym at 10:00 a.m. before my pdoc appointment at 12:40. Left at 11:00 a.m. instead, all anxious because I couldn’t find everything I needed and when I did, I kept misplacing it. Then I walk out the door, and I see that our fucking car is booted. The ironic thing is that Brian just paid all the tickets online this morning.
Anyway, he went to City Hall to take care of it, and when I looked out the window a few minutes ago, the car was de-booted. Except the City left their stupid stickers on the driver side window, I don’t feel like scraping them off, and I’m in no condition to drive anyway (one of the staff at the pdoc’s said he’d try to work some magic if the boot’s taken off). But I’m in no frickin’ condition to drive — I just took a Klonopin a few hours ago, and I didn’t sleep last night. Grrrrr…. 
Not a very fashionable boot now is it? I wonder if Prada makes car boots…
I’m glad they took that damn boot thing off your car. I wonder if you should 1st spray something on the window so their sticker will come off easier.
Hey woman, I don’t have a clue as to what a Denver Boot is, but as long as it isn’t attached to your car, it’s cool!

jane, we do have some of that Goo Gone, but Brian used Windex, which did the trick.
A Denver Boot is that yellow metal thing they attach to the front tire on the drivers side (probably has something to do with your steering wheel), and if you have X number or X amount of unpaid parking tickets then the City boots your car. We’ve never had that happen, but the City has become more strict about unpaid tickets. Well, it’s much better than being towed!

KG, no need to apologize. The Sharks are doing really, really well — certainly better than the Hawks IMO. I wish you could come to one of my games! You wouldn’t have to worry about some kid hitting you in the head while swinging his promo towel around because we have none to give. LOL!
