No Stormtrooping After All & Other Updates

Which is probably good. My CM got me an appointment for next Wednesday, so we’ll be going to the SSA office then.

Saw the pdoc today. He took me off Trileptal because it’s too expensive without insurance, so now I’m back on Tegretol (carbamazepine), which is available in a generic form and thus, a lot cheaper. He told me to forget about the Lunesta and wrote a script for 50 mg. tablets of generic Benadryl, which are cheaper than bottles of 25 mg. tablets. At least I know the stuff works. Shit. Maybe I just jinxed myself.

Still physically sick, and though I have the sniffles I’m not so achy. I don’t really feel like going to practice tonight, mainly because I feel too down, but I know I’ll end up having fun. I am worried about getting sicker, though, because I want to be 100% for Saturday’s game. But I think the worst of it’s over.

I’m sorry that I still haven’t been reading blogs. I’ll get there, though. Soon, I hope because I hate it when my Bloglines is like, jam-packed! :(

Please don’t worry about making the rounds…we’ll love you anyway. Just do what you need to do and take care of yourself. Ok?

    I agree with Robin. :)

Ditto on what was said above. You worry about and take care of YOU! (l)

Have you tried Ativan (generic lorazepam) to help you sleep? My p-doc prescribes 60 .5 mg pills per month for anxiety attacks (I just take one tablet) and/or sleeplessness (I can take up to 3 if serious insomnia has set in). The generic scrip is only $11 and change at Wal-Mart. Is the Benadryl cheaper? I have a hard time finding the OTC generic stuff at a decent price. Anyho! I just thought I would suggest that to you.

Yep, I’m with Robin too. And no need to apologize, please! we all know what it can be like.

    Be well!

  5. Agreed, no need to apologize. Good luck with all this stuff. Drink lots of orange juice (b) and have a cup of tea with honey and lemon. (c)
My son is sick too. Might be strep. (n) I’m going to try to get him into the doctor tomorrow. If it’s strep, he’ll have to miss his school’s follies, which he’s worked hard on. That would suck!

Well at least you’re not achy anymore which completely could put a damper on anybodys’ day. Get healthy so you can make the rounds lol :p

Thanks for understanding, everyone. :) (l)
