Friday Cat Blogging No. 35: Cold Cycle

Cold Cycle 1

Ironically, almost a year ago I wrote a post called Bathing Cats about my experience with this. Bottom line: don’t do it.

Angelo says: More pet pics are available for your viewing pleasure at this week’s Friday Ark. If you post your own pets’ photos, leave them a trackback or comment and you’ll be listed there, too. And remember — they don’t limit pictures just to cats!

    Friday Ark #109…

We’ll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and….? We add boarder…

    Cool pic 8)
I don’t think I ever mentioned how much I LOVE the new look in here, it’s great (y)

  3. First of all, that picture is DARLING!

Secondly, that story was hilarious! You were actually going to put them in their carriers and blow dry them AFTER you got into the bathtub with them and put them under the faucet? HAHA. I know that cats are bathed – I saw one get groomed on television, but it just doesn’t seem natural, does it? Your story was cute. :-)

i swear we own the same cat. maybe when i don’t see her she’s at your house and vice versa… maybe she is a superhero cat… no, it’s more likely she’s a supervillain cat.

i still suspect she’s still smoking in secret and eating all of my bread.

    Ratty, thanks!

KS, thank you! Of course he wasn’t supposed to be in there, but well, that’s how it is with cats. As for the bathing story, I still can’t believe that I actually tried that so-called “cat tip.” Hopper’s had a couple of incidents recently where she’s had to be washed, but not totally bathed, fortunately!

mama, if the cat changes sexes while traveling between our places, then it’s very possible it’s the same cat. I learned a new word the other day: “bilocate.” I think it means the ability to be in two places at once. Maybe our cat(s) have this talent!

haha. why suddenly your view about bathing cats got changed? we own a cat once and his was, “PAO-PAO” nothing just sharing.

ive always thought cats are going to die if they got wet. lol. (l)
