However, my oldest sons fiance' used that NuvaRing and is now expecting their first child on or about July 22, 2006. Although we are all happy about the baby, they were shocked by the news. No timing pills or hormonal rollercoasters, just fold it in half, push in and forget. It's not hard to get it out (you loop your finger into the ring), and most people wear rubber gloves while doing it. It's a lot easier than a diaphragm or a cervical cap, and a lot more reliable than the pill. Also it didn't make me fat or crazy. If the idea of the nuvaring freaks you out go talk to your gyno about it. It's a lot simpler than it seems, and it's not like you've never touched yourself down there (god I hope).
