- i’m thinking that i want a customized blog template. if anyone has suggestions as to which designer i should hire to do this, let me know. it’ll be a while yet before this happens, i think. i’ll need to save up enough money in my PayPal account from my little online LEGO store, CELL 2187 (shameless plug). i was surprised to find out that my little shop actually covers the cost of my blog hosting!
anyways, i welcome your suggestions!

Forget about the plucking hair scenario! That is a bad, bad time.
I don’t know about hiring people to make your a new look webpage. I recommend doing it yourself! Learn the CSS and html (it helps to have a spouse/partner/good friend willing to guide you) and write it. Try looking at some other people’s source code and seeing what you need to include etc. It’s good, frustrating, satisfying in the end fun.
i’m going to get a customized one too. just not sure which designer to go with because all of the really popular ones concentrate on that goofy retro shit with bubble gum colors. bah. i want something to go with the new phase of my life.
let me know if you come across any ‘grown-up’ designers that are reasonably priced.

I am queen of the hair dye isle! I started getting gray hairs at like 20 so that was my solution to that! LOL!
I would love to have a new template but can’t pay anyone to do it so I just end up screwing around with mine – it’s not professional by any means but it gives me hours and hours of frustration and wondering how in the heck they do that!
Thanks for the good wishes. I think that if you want a custom template you should start with an existing one and do it yourself.. either that or find something you truly like and then get that person to help you out. There are some talented designers all over this site…

ok, i guess i should have been more specific. as of right now, i only have ONE gray hair (that i can see). it’s between my left temple and my forehead and is about an inch long. no need to dye yet. and sometimes, it isn’t gray hair at all–it’s cat hair!

I’m trying to learn HTML/CSS well enough to customize my blog, and for any potential job possibilities (’cause I’d love to be able to do it well!), but I’m just not “getting it” for some reason. Severe mental blockage.

Pardon me… your ONE grey hair, but hey, I’m 26… will be 27… and I just started getting grey hairs in December… I have about 6 of them, but luckily for me, the greys are actually hidden in my fro! bwahahha.
I have been doing the design on my own blog since I’ve had a blog. (Two years, I think.)
I would be willing to do a redesign, if you are willing to have me. Though I must say, I like this design… very subtle and classy.
