Hearing Test Clarification

the only reason the results were bad was because i fell asleep. (my pdoc got a good laugh when i told him about it; he happens to know my ENT). i had a nasty ear infection over Christmas, and there was still some fluid in my ear so the doctor wanted to check my hearing. he’ll see a remarkable improvement next time i see him! well, if i don’t fall asleep again.

also, you don’t have to raise your hand anymore. i forgot about that part. instead they give you a device about the size of a pen. when you hear the tone, you click the button on top. that’s it!

LOL Poor thing. It is impossible for me to fall asleep anywhere but my bed. Of course if I am at some place else comfortable such as the spare room at my mom’s I can fall asleep. I have a hard time sleeping other places though.

I was wondering if nodding off wasn’t the reason for the bad result. LOL I always feel weird in those glass boxes. God bless.

Good. So we won’t be buying you an ear horn for your birthday. ;o)

    LOL too funny.

I fell asleep once when I was being questioned by the police, but that’s a story for another time.

no, no, no. i wasn’t declared legally deaf. i won’t be needing an ear horn, thank you. and i didn’t hear myself snoring! though when i told my dad yesterday about the sleep apnea thing and how it could be hereditary, he did tell me that his own snoring wakes him up! good God.
