Follow-Up to Chicago Living Tip No. 31
see? i practice what i preach (see Chicago Living Tip #31): i pulled in as closely as possible to the cars in front and behind. Brian wouldn’t have tried to park here. OK, i just wanted to show off the awesome parking job i did because i’m usually horrible at parallel parking.

You have got to be kidding! Did you pull in sideways?! I remember the parking was like that around UW-Milwaukee when my husband and I went to school there. People would park like you but they would keep nudging the car in front of them until it got pushed forward a little. That way they had more room for their car when parked near a corner and wouldn’t get a ticket!

You go you go you go…lol
Hmm…looks like a tough one to get out of though.

that’s what bumpers are for, peeps! you don’t ram ‘em, just give them what i call a little love tap. anyhow, i wasn’t going back out that day, and the other cars would probably be gone by morning. ^_^

This is a great public service. It kills me to see that if everyone just moved up two inches there would be like 900 extra parking spots on our street alone.
