That New Episode III Trailer Experience
I should have listened to my gut when I thought that Fox wouldn’t air the trailer until the end of “The O.C.” Instead, I sat through the whole show and suffered through the insipid dialogue that was worse, much worse, than the dialogues in Ep. I & II.
But the trailer…oh, man! I cannot wait for this movie to come out. I’ve heard that a camp-out for tickets is happening in D.C. on May 6 or some ridiculously early date like that. Give me a break. It isn’t like there’s only a limited amount of tickets. I’d like to see it on the first day, but if I don’t, I don’t.
So Palpatine whips out a lightsaber in the trailer, but we don’t get to see him use it. We do see Anakin leading an army of…I don’t know…droids? I didn’t tape the trailer, silly me. Lots of explosions! Yay! Padme crying…boo hoo. I always wondered what happened to the Skywalkers’ mom. She isn’t mentioned in the EU, as far as I know, but I’ve only read up to the Thrawn Trilogy.
I also can’t wait to find out how it is that Palpatine manages to hide his Sithness from the entire Council. I mean, come on, this was Yoda in his prime–how could the dark side that clouded be? I’ve managed to remain spoiler-free as far as Ep. III goes, except for what I’ve seen on this trailer and the one on Star Wars.com, so I don’t know if they’ll show Yoda fleeing to Dagobah and Obi-wan holing up on Tatooine.
If I can, I’d like to read Jedi Trial and Labyrinth of Evil before I see the movie, but I just hate hardcover books. They’re so bulky, and they aren’t going to come out in paperback anytime soon. So much to do!

The trailer looked awesome, but if Aayla Secura dies, I am gonna be very, very sad.
She probably will, given the fact that we know the ending.
