		<description>Barb, I think that what's happening is this: In the early, heady days of blogging, everybody signed up for the Truth Laid Bear Ecosphere, regardless of political or other affiliations. I think that as time went on, fewer and fewer new bloggers of leftish persuasion bothered, but the newer rightish blogs continued the tradition. So there are just more of them. 

AmericaBlog, for example, a gay, leftwing site, has been linked through the roof in the last coupla weeks -- heck, CNN , NYT, Guardian, FOX have linked to AmericaBlog, not to mention every third blogger. But he's not listed on TTLB at all, because it seems to no longer be a priority for lefty bloggers. The prominent old school lefty polibloggers, like Atrios, Josh Marshall, etc., are still at the top of the lists.</description>
