when looking for street parking in a congested neighborhood, do not hesitate to do a 3-point turn to procure a free space on the other side of the street. don’t worry–cars traveling in either direction will stop for you and maybe even respect your inititaive. isn’t this why we learned to do 3-point turns in drivers ed. in the first place?
