I should try that. For some reason my chin is drying out and is all red. It looks bizarre. I can't figure out why it is so red and dry. I don't have any allergies that I know of. I bought some Aveeno lotion for really dry skin and it seems to work. The problem? It has menthol in it and after I put it on my face, I smell like an old person. (Per my husband)

Thanks for the tip! I always get dry skin in the winter, no matter how much I moisturize.

So funny - and true. Although the random doctor I had a date with this week said women should just wise up and use vaseline. he claims it is the same thing as crem de la mer. Ha! Men!

Found you by accident today - great blog!

Kindly,
Kirsten

hiya barb! another great chi-town tip. god knows we need it after the temps we've been having.

i just wanted to throw another option out there for any guy who is a little 'self-conscious' about buying some clinique products - aquaphor and eucerin are excellent products to use for majorly chapped or chafed skin. ive used both for chafing after the marathon, and they work wonders on wind burned skin as well. you can pick up either @ your local cvs or walgreens.

have a happy holiday, and stay warm!

cheers
