<description>[...] i happened to look in Hopper&#8217;s direction, and she was taking a dump on the side desk.&#160; wha&#8211;?&#160; she&#8217;s pooped outside the box before (on this occasion and this other occasion among others), but never so blatantly in front of us.&#160; i mean, she was in the middle of the act when i saw her.&#160; she got a time out in the bathroom, which she&#8217;s never had before.&#160; i&#8217;m not sure how that went because Brian was the disciplinarian this time.&#160; i was frozen where i sat, in disbelief, in dismay, and absolutely mortified. <description>You mentioned in an earlier entry that your kitty was upset because you got another cat. This might have something to do with it. Too bad you don't have Sonia Fitzpatrick... maybe she would do the trick! Lol.

But serisouly though, if you kitty is pooping outside of the litterbox, it's because he/she does not like their living environment. As I said earlier, he/she wants to be outside or alone. At least, that's how it's always been at my house. Your kitty might feel threatened by the other cat. Just a suggestion. You might want to have that cat live in your room alone instead of being around the other cat. I'm not sure, because you haven't explained all the details in your blog entry... as far as, what would be other factors that could relate to this whole situation. If it is not one factor, then perhaps it is another. It's all a process of eliminaton. Not like you don't know that, but... you know! :)
