<description>Trigger #38: Have you done something nice for someone lately? Think about the last nice thing you did for someone.

1. What did you do? For Whom?
it would too conceited if i said something like, "i am constantly nice and i do very nice things for people", but i am guilty when it comes to people telling me that i am "too nice"... i don't think i'm terribly nice, i just feel that when someone needs help and i'm there and i'm not busy, why the hell not?

i do small favors for a lot of friends, but the last time i helped a stranger was like a week ago. someone asked me where a certain building on campus was, and although i was on my way to catch a bus i tried to explain to him, and when he didn't understand where it was still we went to the registry building to look at a map to show him where that building was. he wanted to take the bus instead, so i told him all the busses he could take to get close to that building, then walked him partway to that bus stop. then i ran after my bus and almost missed it. hehe i'm dumb.

2. How did it make you feel to do something nice?
in general, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. especially when they are really grateful (beyond my expectations), it's wonderful to see that people are so happy and glad when you give them just the right help at just the right time :) this time it made me feel hot because i got all hot running after the bus that i had to take.

3. How did the person react?
he seemed grateful and thanked me a few times. which makes me happy.

4. Did you expect anything in return?
not really. in fact i was worried b/c i'm paranoid and just in case i gave him the wrong directions somehow.

5. Write about some nice things you could do for the people around you over the next week or so.
i can clean up the house for a friend who is staying over, and also be nicer to my 2nd oldest sister and spend some time with her- sometimes she thinks that i'm neglecting her or something, and it's simply not true, so i should make the effort to be kind to her.
